Of Soul and Joy returned to Limpopo for the second edition of its rural youth empowerment initiative in the province to continue its mission to use photography as a powerful medium for storytelling and self-expression. The 2025 program was held from 1 to 12 July at Magoza Secondary School in Dan Village, near Tzaneen. Designed for youth aged 15 to 25, the workshop engaged both students from the school and unemployed young people from the surrounding community. A total of 30 participants took part in this immersive two-week photography journey.

Led by photographer Sibusiso Bheka alongside Of Soul and Joy alumni—Vuyo Maabheka, Lunathi Mngxuma, Zwelibanzi Zwane, and Anele Ntshangase. The workshop provided hands on learning through practical sessions, fieldwork, and location shoots. Participants were given access to professional gear, including cameras, laptops, and visual reference books, equipping them to explore and develop their creative voices.
