OSJ exhibition in Arles, France 2020

Rubis Mécénat features an exhibition on South African photographers from Of Soul and Joy Photo Project in Arles!

On the occasion of the summer program Arles contemporary, The Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation for Documentary Photography & Film invites Rubis Mécénat to showcase South African photographers from Of Soul and Joy Photo Project.

Featuring photographers include: Sibusiso Bheka I Thembinkosi Mihx Hlatshwayo I Kanda Litha I Vuyo Tar-Cash Mabheka I Lunathi Mngxuma the photographer I Thobeka Thosh Nzwana & OSJ Mentors: Jabulani Dhlamini and Thandile Zwelibanzi.

A selection of thirty photographs by the project’s young South African photographers and their mentors, Jabulani Dhlamini - represented by the Goodman Gallery in South Africa - and Thandile Zwelibanzi.

This exhibition will also unveil video portraits of Jabulani Dhlamini and Thsepiso Mazibuko, Of Soul and Joy
photographer and a laureate of the 2018 Prince Claus Award. These portraits are part of the ART(ist) series by Alexander Murphy, produced by Rubis Mécénat.
