Vuyo Mabheka

Vuyo Mabheka was born in Libode, Eastern Cape.

He was introduced into photography in 2017 through the Of Soul and Joy Photo Project in Buhlebuzile Secondary School, Thokoza, South Africa.

In 2018 he exhibited his first photo series "Ikasi Lami" in a group exhibition by Easigas and Rubis Mecenat Cultural Fund at the Stop Sign Art Gallery in New Town, Johannesburg. He exhibited again in 2019 on a Photo Fest by the Of Soul and Joy Photo Project. Images have featured on the City Press newspaper and also got profiled by JoburgTV.
